Straight answers.
Do I need my own Google Cloud project?
Yes — and that's the point. You bring a service account from your own project, so submissions run on your own daily quota. That's what makes this scale honestly instead of everyone fighting over one shared limit.
Is submitting URLs to Google against the rules?
The Indexing API is officially intended for job-posting and livestream pages. Many tools use it more broadly; we're upfront that this is a grey area and that quota can be revoked by Google. IndexNow (Bing/Yandex) and sitemap pings have no such limits.
Which engines do you notify?
Google via the Indexing API, plus Bing and Yandex via IndexNow. We also ping your sitemap and can push new posts over RSS/WebSub.
How does the daily quota work?
Google's Indexing API allows roughly 200 requests per day per Cloud project. IndexPulse meters this per domain and shows exactly how much you've used, resetting at midnight Pacific.
Do you store my service-account key?
Encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, decrypted only inside the worker at submit time. It's never exposed to the browser and never shared with other users.
Will this guarantee my page gets indexed?
No tool can. Search engines decide what to index. What we do is make sure every engine is notified promptly and show you exactly how each one responded.
